He is a professional Fellow of the European Board of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Shravan Bohra completed his graduation from the University of Rajasthan in 1986, followed by MD (General Medicine) from the University of Rajasthan in 1990. In 1997, he went on to do MRCP from the Royal College Of Physicians, London (UK). He then worked and went to acquire training in Ireland for 10 years.
Dr. Bohra performed two TIPS procedures (TransJugular IntraHepatic, Porto-Systemic Shunt) successfully at Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad, first time in the history of Gujarat.
Dr. Bohra is an expert in performing liver transplants, besides treating liver cancer, acute and chronic liver diseases, abdominal TB, alcohol-related problems affecting stomach, pancreas and liver and performing advanced GI endoscopic procedures including ERCP.
Dr. Shravan Bohra has been invited as faculty at few national conferences and has co-authored several research papers for reputed medical journals.
